Starting a new school year is stressful for teachers as well as parents and students. It's necessary to spend numerous hours "getting the room ready". I find myself doing such tasks as - reading a summer's worth of e-mails, reviewing all student's IEPs, test scores, previous learning difficulties and successes. I have new materials to peruse through, bulletin boards to fix, forms and reports to prepare for AND this year, I "get" to learn many new software products to improve student success. Also, there are new teachers at our school to meet and explain my program to. For Teachers.....
