POST IT NOTES
These are handy little items. I use them in various ways. Students are encouraged to use them to mark their place when copying math problems, English work, spelling words, etc.
While reading a text book, they are handy to mark pages where you find answers to assigned questions. Return after reading the entire section to organize your notes.
Use to organize thoughts for creative writing.
Use to alphabetize lists of words.
It’s fun to write positive statements on them and slip them into student desks, books, and such.
Personally, I use them to remind myself of teacher requests for assistance. For me, if it’s not written down and posted somewhere near my desk, I
might forget to follow through.
Encourage students to use them to write themselves reminders.
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.
